Jared's Winter Coat Drive for Jersey Cares

  A short month, but we got lots of coats! Thanks to everyone who donated one of the 30 coats this month. Jared's coat drive total is 57 coats collected to date.

Not just because it's winter but more because he believes it's “important to help other people who need it.” So, he's conducting a coat drive. And while many people will be looking to toss their winter coats as the months get warmer, Jared is hoping to collect some of those gems for his coat drive. It's part of his birthday wish, to collect 100 coats for his 13th birthday. He's not just doing it in the upcoming weeks, but in the upcoming months.   His deadline to collect coats is July 31, 2025.    “I'm hoping to collect 100 good-condition coats by then for Jersey Cares,” he said. “So far I've collected 40.”   Why July?
